Current Conformance Status

Shero Imaging is committed to providing an inclusive, accessible experience for all users. Our website has been developed in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Levels A and AA, and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which establishes accessibility requirements for digital content.

These standards help ensure our website is accessible to individuals with disabilities, enhances compatibility with assistive technologies, and improves the overall user experience.

WCAG 2.1 defines three levels of accessibility: A, AA, and AAA. We have chosen to align Level A and AA standards to foster a more accessible digital environment. Our website confirms with WCAG 2.1 AA from a content perspective. All critical site content and functions remain accessible, and we continue to track accessibility best practices as part of our ongoing maintenance.

This website includes certain third-party tools selected to ensure security, functionality, and compliance where applicable — including a HIPAA-compliant form integration. Some of these tools may result in accessibility limitations that fall outside of our control. We monitor these components regularly and make updates as platform improvements become available.

Some known limitations include:

  • On mobile screen readers, the navigation menu does not trap focus according to semantic standards, though it remains fully navigable via keyboard on desktop browsers, mobile browsers, and screen readers. As an alternative option, if needed, screen reader users can access all public-facing pages through our HTML sitemap.

  • The embedded HIPAA-compliant form is delivered via iframe and cannot be modified or restyled. However, fallback contact options are provided adjacent to the form, and at the top of the page here.

  • Planned updates to hero image text contrast will be implemented during the first content refresh with our clinic imagery.
